The single seat valves are used for simple shut off at flow path intersections within a pipe system. One seal is used to separate the contents of two intersecting pipes.

All single seat shut off valves are available in sizes from OD 1" through to OD 4" as standard, with Fractional Single Seat Shut Off Valves for CIP routing operations in 1/2" or 3/4" sizes.

- All valves can be supplied with or without Control Modules (T.VIS) in AC or DC as well as ASI or DeviceNet addressing options.

The GEA single seat valves are available in the following series

The VARIVENT® Single-seat serie are available as shut-off valves and shuttle valves.

VARIVENT® Single-seat Shut-off Valves are used for simple shutoff at flow path intersections within the pipe system. One seal is used on the one-part valve disk for shutting-off two pipes against each other. In case of sealing failure, controlled leakage drain is not provided.

VARIVENT® Single-seat Shuttle valves are used for converging media from two pipes into one pipe- Type W. Type X are used for diverting media from one pipe into two pipes. Both have always one seal is used on the one-part valve disk in order to shut-off the pipes from each other. If the seal fails, the media in the pipes may inter.

The T-smart Single seat serie stand out for their small, compact design. The resulting low weight enables easy handling and operation of the valve. Due to the innovative bayonet lock and the optimized component concept, the T-smart valve series sets new standards with respect to ease of maintenance. Seals can be replaced in next to no time with just a few turns of the hand. Special tools are not required. The bayonet lock also enables the valve to be dismantled easily without control air.

The ECOVENT® E Single-seat serie are available as shut off valve only. They provides a new actuator generation, shorter lanterns and shortened vertical socket on the valve. Available configurations "L" and "T" housing only. One seal is used to separate the contents of two intersecting pipes.
