Michael Friis (Executive Vice President)
Michael Friis is the Executive Vice President of GEA Processing Engineering A/S. He was born in 1963 and holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration. Michael started his professional career as an accountant in 1983 and has subsequently held several executive positions with companies such as Alfa-Laval, Sprout-Matador (Andritz Group) and Rationel Vinduer A/S (Velux Group) before joining GEA Liquid Processing in 2006.

Thorsten N. Vammen (Director)
Thorsten N. Vammen is Director of the GEA Liquid Processing Business Unit. He was born in 1969 and holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Thorsten started his professional career in 1996 as project engineer with Union Engineering A/S. He joined GEA Liquid Processing in 1998, first as Project Manager and later on as Technical Manager. In 2004 he moved to the USA to join GEA Process Engineering Inc. in Columbia MD initially as Engineering Manager and later on as Business Unit Manager. Thorsten returned to Denmark and GEA Liquid Processing in August 2010.

Ulrik Lund Jakobsen (Director)
Ulrik Lund Jakobsen is the Director of GEA Filtration in Skanderborg. He was born in 1972 and holds a M.Sc. in Dairy Science and Technology besides a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. Ulrik started his professional career with UpFront Chromotography A/S in Copenhagen as Technology Manager. After different positions at UpFront he joined FORCE Technology as Senior Project Manager. In 2007 he joined GEA Liquid Processing as Business Development Manager and later on Business Unit Manager. He was appointed Director of GEA Filtration in July 2008.
