Malt Beverage Production
Non-alcoholic malt beverages are produced by avoiding fermentation in the early stages of the production process or by removing the alcohol in the final stages.
Alternatively, the beverage can be based on a malt extract. An extract is made from a malt beverage, allowing liquids and flavours to be added later. This makes it possible to produce the extract in one location and the final beverage in another.
