A Specialist in Project Management
When GEA Liquid
Processing is awarded a contract, our supply begins from day one, delivered by
one of our dedicated Project Managers. The Project Manager will cooperate
closely with the customer through all phases of the project and ensure that the
agreed project schedule and milestones are met.
Founded in our Project Execution Plan (PEP) which is an integrated part of
our Quality Assurance system (QA), the Project Manager will drive the project
and provide the necessary coordination between all the involved parties in the
project organization.
Depending on the project size and/or given time frame, a typical GEA project
organization consists of a Process
Design and Engineering team, a Software Engineering team and an Erection, Installation and
Commissioning team. If external sub-suppliers are required in the scope of
supply, the sub-supplier is a natural part of the project organization,
ensuring a smooth integration and control of the sub-supply.
The Project Manager will keep strict track of each step of the project and
provide all members of the project organization with Progress Reports on the
development of the project. The close customer interaction, integrated QA
procedures and strict project progress tracking enable us to be abreast of any
kind of unforeseen obstacles and/or changes to the scope of supply (change
orders) without this affecting the overall project schedule.
Our Project Manager will follow the project all the way through to final
taking-over and ensure that all the User Requirement Specifications (URS) are
met through on site performance tests.
